One beautiful, sunny morning, a very, very scary and dangerous **forest fire** suddenly burst out, roaring to life in the heart of the big, green forest. The wind began to blow super strong, like a giant invisible fan, making the fire grow bigger and bigger with incredible speed. It was like a hungry, fiery monster, quickly eating up all the tall trees and everything else that stood in its path. All the clever animals in the forest got really, really scared and quickly ran away as fast as they possibly could, trying to save their precious lives from the heat and smoke. Among them was a loving **deer family** – a strong father deer, a kind mother deer, and their three adorable little fawns. The whole deer family ran very, very swiftly, bravely escaping from the hot, **blazing forest**.

Oh, dear! The tiniest and youngest fawn among them started to feel very, very tired. Its tiny legs were simply too weary, and it just could not run as fast as its mommy and daddy anymore, falling behind. The poor little fawn stopped to rest under a very big, tall tree, breathing in and out very, very heavily. It looked all around with its big, gentle eyes, trying its hardest to find its beloved family, hoping they were safe. The little fawn really, really hoped with all its heart that its mommy and daddy would come back soon to find their lost baby, feeling very alone.

When it was already the middle of the day, the bright sun was shining high in the sky, but still, none of the fawn's family members had come back yet. The little fawn felt so very, very thirsty and missed its mother's warm, comforting milk so much. So, it decided to be very brave and go look for some water all by itself. Soon, it saw a sparkling, clear river and hurried to drink the cool, refreshing water. But guess what? Two big, sneaky **crocodiles** were quietly swimming closer and closer, hidden just beneath the water, without the fawn even knowing! Suddenly, a helpful **rabbit** nearby saw the danger and shouted a loud warning, "**Watch out for the crocodiles!**" The fawn got a big surprise and quickly jumped back, just missing the crocodiles' snapping, toothy jaws. What a close call that was!

"Oh, thank you, thank you so, so much, kind rabbit! You truly **saved my life** just now," said the little fawn, feeling very, very grateful for the rabbit's quick thinking and loud warning. The friendly rabbit smiled gently and replied, "No problem at all, little fawn! We should always **help each other** in the forest, especially when someone is in trouble. But little fawn, why are you all alone in this big, big place, far from your family?" The fawn looked very sad, its eyes full of worry, and explained, "I got separated from my mommy and daddy and my brothers when we were all running away from the big, scary forest fire. Now I don't know what to do or where to go."

"Oh, please don't be sad, my dear little deer," the kind rabbit said with a gentle, comforting voice, trying to cheer up the fawn. "I know a super special place that has lots and lots of yummy, **fresh green grass** for you to eat. And guess what? There's also a tiny, pretty river there with crystal **clear water** for you to drink. It's a wonderful, safe place where no dangers lurk! Come with me, let's go there right now," the rabbit said, gently asking the little deer to follow him away from that dangerous spot and towards a peaceful new home.

Not too long after that, walking side-by-side and feeling much safer, the little fawn and the friendly rabbit arrived at a very calm and **peaceful green meadow**. This place was super safe and quiet because there were no mean predators like the crocodiles hiding there, ready to pounce. The happy rabbit and the very hungry fawn immediately started munching on the delicious, fresh green grass. It tasted so good and filled their empty bellies with happiness and contentment!

After they had eaten all the yummy grass they wanted, feeling full and content, the little fawn and the happy rabbit started to play together. Both of the animal friends ran around very cheerfully, their spirits light and free, and sometimes they even chased each other, giggling and having so much fun in the warm sunshine. For a little while, the fawn could completely forget about feeling sad or worried about its family. It felt so good to just play and be happy, even just for a moment.

As the sun went down, making the sky turn beautiful shades of orange and purple, **night fell** softly over the meadow. The little fawn and the rabbit found a cozy spot to sleep under a big, strong tree, feeling safe together. A wise old owl watched over them from above, hooting softly and gently. The fawn found it very hard to close its eyes, feeling very, very sad again, thinking deeply about its mommy, daddy, and brothers. "Will I ever be able to **reunite with my family** again?" the little deer whispered to itself, its heart aching. It wasn't until the deep middle of the night that the tired fawn could finally fall into a deep, peaceful sleep.

Then, very early in the morning, just as the sun was starting to peek up over the hills and paint the sky with light, the sleeping fawn heard a very familiar and loving voice. It was its mommy calling its name! The little fawn opened its eyes quickly, turned its head, and then shouted with so much joy as its whole family, its mommy, daddy, and brothers, were coming closer and closer to it! The happy fawn ran as fast as its little legs could carry it, bounding towards its mother to drink her warm, sweet milk, feeling incredibly safe and loved.

From that special day on, the whole deer family decided to live happily and peacefully in the beautiful, safe **green meadow**. They were so grateful to have found such a wonderful new home. And every single day, the little fawn played joyfully with its best friend, the rabbit, always remembering the kindness shown to it. Their lives were filled with so much happiness, laughter, and fun, all thanks to a kind rabbit and a safe, new home where they could all be together.
