Once upon a time, in a peaceful and green village nestled deep within Central Kalimantan, Indonesia, there lived a wonderful Dayak girl named Vita. She was eleven years old and lived a very happy life with her kind and loving family, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Vita's dear father was a hardworking rubber farmer. He worked tirelessly every single day, tapping rubber trees and collecting the sap, always making sure to provide everything his beloved family needed. He was a truly dedicated and strong dad.

Her mother was a typical and busy housewife, always keeping their home cozy and warm. But in her extra time, when she wasn't doing chores, she cleverly helped the family earn a little bit more money. She did this by skillfully making and selling beautiful woven products from special rattan, like strong mats and useful baskets.

Even though Vita and her family lived in a small, remote village, Vita was lucky and happy to be able to go to school regularly. She was a very smart student and rarely ever missed a single day of school! She was always eager to learn new things.

When Vita wasn't at school, she used her free time to be a big helper for her mother at home. She learned to do many important tasks, like cooking yummy meals for her family, keeping their house sparkling clean, and washing clothes by the cool, flowing river.

Sometimes, Vita would also go with her father to their family farm. There, she would help him gather the fresh and tasty vegetables he grew, like spicy red chilies, long green beans, and big purple eggplants. She loved helping her dad in the garden!

Vita had a very special passion and talent for Dayak arts, especially their beautiful traditional dances. Twice every week, she would go to a special dance studio in her village to practice her movements, inheriting her amazing dancing talent from her very own grandmother. Her grandmother was a graceful dancer too!

In just a few short months, like magic, the beautiful girl had become an incredibly skilled Dayak dancer! She moved with such grace and precision. She was so good that sometimes she was even invited to perform her dances at happy wedding parties and other special celebrations in her village.

One very exciting day, Vita danced her heart out and won first place in a big traditional dance festival! It was organized by the local Tourism Office. Her parents were so incredibly proud of her amazing achievement and cheered for her loudly. After winning that special festival, the graceful dancer became very well-known to many people, and sometimes she even traveled to other cities to show off her wonderful dancing skills.

Vita became so famous that she was even invited to a faraway country, all the way to Paris, France! The Indonesian Embassy asked her to come and share the beautiful Dayak culture with people from all over the world. But even with all these amazing opportunities, for Vita, her school and learning always remained the most important thing in her life. She had a very big and kind dream: her ambition was to grow up and become a beloved teacher right there in her own village, sharing knowledge with others.
